Størmerlige Films Lends Hand to Museum Community with #AFuture4thePast

As heritage tourism is hit hard by the economic effects of the coronavirus crisis, closing museums and putting public history professionals out of jobs, Størmerlige Films has partnered with the Newport (R.I.) Historical Society to facilitate direct mentorship and guidance for institutions in need of immediate assistance. The studio has produced a 2-minute PSA to promote the message of “I’m With You” with more than a dozen influencers in the field pledging to work with others to support them in this challenging time. The studio plans a series of other videos, including an extended “I’m With…” collection that spotlights particular sites, along with continuing its free advice to heritage nonprofits who are looking to introduce digital storytelling content.
